As the name implies, "Open Platform" project is to tell the stories of Azerbaijani women, to show people visually the difficulties and struggles they face in their daily lives. On the platform, these stories will be shared through conversations with experts, citizens' opinions, opinion pieces, interviews, cinematic footages, and street polls. Our goal is to reflect the daily lives of women, collect donations for women in need, and provide psychological and legal assistance in the future.
As the name implies, "Open Platform" is an open space for everyone to share their stories. We do not intend to impose additional gender roles on women through these stories, to convince women that they have to be "strong". Every woman can find themselves in these stories and feel that she is not alone, which can be a source of inspiration for them.
As part of the project, we want to convey the stories of individuals through the "Untold Stories" section. We plan to share the opinions of experts on various topics through the "Open Talk", as well as to share the views of citizens in the form of street polls through the "Open Microphone".
